Frequently Asked Questions

The answers to some of our most frequently asked questions appear below. If you have read the FAQ and have not found the answer to your question, please email us with your enquiry.

Can I place an order by mail, fax or phone?
Yes!  While our online ordering is guaranteed secure and ensures the most prompt delivery of your order, you may prefer to order by mail, fax or telephone.

On our Contact Us page you can download one of our order forms. Fill out your order details and either mail or fax it to us. The relevant address/fax details are included on the form. We also accept orders by phone.

For fax and phone orders, payment is required on placement of order by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard). For mail orders, we accept credit card, bank cheques and money orders.

Is the online ordering secure? What happens to my credit card details?
Ordering online is the most secure method of placing your order, and the method we recommend. Your credit card details are sent directly to the bank and we have no record of them. Please see our separate page about our secure online ordering for detailed information on how this works!

How long will delivery take?
All orders are processed within 5 days, and posted as soon as possible thereafter. If we have the items you have ordered in stock you should receive your order within 7 business days, depending on where in Australia the item is being sent. If we do not have an item in stock, you should still receive your order within 10 business days.

How is my order delivered, and how much does it cost me?
Newlywed uses Australia Post for delivery. Delivery is free Australia-wide.

It is important that you give us the right address, returned orders are the responsibility of the recipient if the address is wrong or does not accept the package. There are charges for the return and the re-send.

What if I need to cancel an order?
If you need to cancel an order please email us ASAP or phone us on 0414 555 383 and we will cancel it. If the order has already been despatched, it cannot be cancelled and you will have to return it to us in its original condition, the postage to be at your own expense, and we will issue you with a refund less the postage cost.

What's your refund policy?
If for any reason you're not satisfied with any purchases you make from this site simply return your purchase to us in its original condition within 14 days for a full refund - no questions asked. Sorry we cannot refund freight charges on delivery and return of goods.

Method of refunds
Newlywed will refund to your credit card, or we can post a cheque or money order.

How to make a return
All we ask is that you print and fill in our Returns Form, and return the product in its original condition with its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order confirmation record.

Do you accept international orders?
Not at this stage. We only accept orders from customers in Australia and all of our prices are accordingly quoted in Australian dollars.
